Review: Create Social Content with Storify

28 Jan

A few months back I signed up for a beta on the site Storify and just got my invite yesterday. When I first came across the site I thought it looked really neat since it allows you to incorporate content from different sources such as Google, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Flickr and RSS feeds to create a story. So when I finally got my invite I was excited to try it out, see how it worked and if it lived up to the hype.

The interface is intuitive and easy to use and I had my first story up in just a few minutes. I thought it was really cool to be able to pull in different tweets and also be able to search on specific hashtags (eg. #ContentRules) and just drag and drop the tweets I wanted (no more screen captures required!) into a ‘story’. You can then also notify the tweeps who you’ve included in your story with a simple tweet, share your content on Twitter, Facebook and embed on your blog.

Good stuff, Storify! Another tool to add to your content-strategy toolbox.
